The CEO of facebook Mark Zuckerberg who is enjoying his fatherhood has been a main target for security researchers and hackers.
(Remember, he is the one, breached into Harvard university server, hacked student's database and made temporary website facemash.Very soon, by lot of traffic over night leads to Harvard university servers went down.)
Facebook spending millions for solving zuck's facebook security to make him alive and safe in the internet especially in facebook .
But on regular interval this tech giant is getting into trouble by some security flaws.
Successful exploit:
on mid august 2012, palestenian security researcher Khalil Shreateh found a security exploit.He tried contacting facebook to reveal about the security flaw, but they didn't response for his emails properly it seems.
So Khalil took his reseach one step forward, successfully exploited,then posted on zuck's official facebook page saying
"First, sorry for breaking your privacy and post to your wall.I no other choice to make after all the reports I sent to Facebook team"
Soon he posted he got email from facebook's security researches, to describe and send all the details about the security flaw.
Khalil didn't get any cash reward, because he breached the security instead of reporting it to facebook (khalil aimed for money).
After all this happened one of the security team member in facebook said "the bug allow facebook users to share links to other facebook users" and blamed themselves for slow response for khalil's email.
Finest attack on Zuck:
Recently his pinterest and twitter account hacked by the famous hacker group called OurMine. They posted "Hacked By OurMine Team" in his pinterest account.
Few weeks ago from this attack on Zuck, the same team claiming that they got zuck's linkedin password which is recovered from LinkedIn password dump attack which is performed by the same team on 2012. They released almost 117 millions linkedin credentials in Internet. OurMine team said that zuck's password is "dadada", and they attempted to access his account.
After few hours this news was trending all over the world and made zuck very sad. "No Facebook systems or accounts were accessed,” a Facebook spokesperson told at the interview.
Funny side of his security problems:
Recently mark released his photo in internet in order to say thanks for 500M likes for his instagram account. But he didn't know that he revealed something, which went crazy in internet.
1. He taped over his web cam
2. He taped over his microphone
3. His email client is Thunderbird
May be he is protecting himself from hackers or any other security problems, its just unbelievable, that a tech giant made this himself.
