Good to see you all with my microsoft smartphone story and Microsoft mobile which almost comes to its end.
Its been almost one year of being microsoft user, let me tell you the true story of MS phones how it went and worked for the users (only for microsoft windows phones, not for other windows smart phones)
1.Upgrade
Whether it is update of clearing bug or upgrade of its current version, microsoft is much better than android phones.Once the notification for update/upgrade is shown, the one click process made easy to complete the update/upgrade.The process let user to choose when to restart the mobile for completing process. Once restarting time is set the mobile automates the process and finish it ASAP(based on internet speed).
2.Preview build support
Lot of people telling that windows phone is not user friendly. But the truth is,the preview build makes the phone more advanced in User Interaction. It gives pretty good feeling of using the phone easier, thus the preview build gives user friendly experience
3.Easy bug removal
Due to lot bugs in each version of platform update the preview built contains more bugs between (the application that is install earlier) and . For removing these kind of bugs the users of microsoft phones contacting the official forum. As soon as the bugs reviewed the very next update clears it. This makes the user satisfaction to the next reliable level of phones.
Also microsoft smart phones are automatically updates and clears the bugs once the setting is set to auto update
4.support
Even though microsoft is not having big market level comparing to android and ios (Apple) phones, they are still able to review the queries/questions and various things and reply quickly. The forum moderator and others users participating in the forum frequently to help the microsoft users.
Also big support from website like windowscentral gives the user up to date news and support
5.Gaming
Though windows phone is used for high graphic games like asphalt8, windows phone must improve their gaming level of user. Because entertainment in smart phones is undeniable. The very next problem in windows phones is multiplayer gaming. Since there are very few games are made for multiplayer support those games are actually based on same story of android's popular games.
6.Application
The application of windows phones are not good in satisfaction of users. When a media player like VlC is released for windows phones, there are lot of bugs (actually they are countless bugs). The same player looks good at android phones and works better than windows phone (may be there will be problem with developers).Every the application is installed into a windows phones at least it has a bug in it.
7.Allocating memory space
After each upgrade is over the memory space becomes less.I had this problems which leads to low memory space in phone memory. When apps are installed in memory cards or external memory space, it leads application to corrupt/damage its log files when the memory card is removed once or twice.
In my case i finally reset the phone which leads to giving lots of space to phone memory.
8.The professionalism of documentation
Though there are lot products is used for documentation and making presentation, windows is used.The phone let the user to creating new documents,editing powerpoint presentation, managing their accounts on Excel etc.. by downloading their office 360.
Verdict:
Truth is,microsoft phones are better than android phones when it comes to updating or upgrading and also low budget phone. But it is actually not good for gamers, application download freaks.
